What are you doing New Year's Eve???

The new year is just around the corner and as I have my 2012 resolutions set and ready to go, my antsy-pantsy self couldn't help starting a day early. Two of my resolutions for the new year are:

1. post more entries in my blog
2. for 365 days, live out this motto:Sing, like noone's listening,Dance, like no one's watching,Work, like you don't need the money,Give, like you expect nothing in return,Love, like you'll never get hurt,Live, like it's heaven on earth.

The rest of my resolutions will be posted in a later entry but because I'm trying to seize every moment of each day, this has caused me to post a day early. Hope everyone has a safe and fantastic time ringing in the new year! I leave you with this video/song by She & Him which absolutely makes my heart melt.

dearest paul,

it's been so long...since high school i would say? i was in love with all things you. from backpacks to the soft cotton tees to especially, my very favorite pj bottoms, there was no monkeying around (well maybe a little). as life went on, as i became a little more serious, a little more grown up, i thought i could move on. but recently, ever so slightly, you have crept back into my life, reminding me that a little monkey business is okay. for that, thanks for the silliness and the smiles.
